Agency for Community Transit (ACT), the provider of multi-modal transportation services for Madison County Transit, has launched the “Community Action Grants Program.” The purpose of this new program is to provide funding to public entities and organizations to enhance mobility for the elderly and disabled, improve ADA accessibility, and promote alternative transportation modes to improve the quality of life for Madison County residents.
